"With the COVID-19 virus, here at Senior Country Care, we are providing all the safety measures needed to keep our residents safe and sound. We have “no visitor” policy currently. All staff members are being asked to stay home if they are not feeling well and to report any illnesses to the administrator. As our staff reports to work their temperature is being taken and asked if they have any respiratory issues. Each of our care homes are being cleaned with disinfectant each shift. We are providing FaceTime phone calls for the families that have the capability. We are also contacting family members at least once a week to let them know that their family member is doing well. We have asked families to write their loved one letters, and we do have some families that have peeked into windows just to tell our residents hello. This is a very trying time for the elderly, and we are trying our best to keep our residents happy and healthy."
